Kiwi Jet boat tours was established in 1977 and has been owned and operated by World Jet Boat Racing Champion Bill Roberts for over 23 years.

Bill Roberts has over 40 years jet boating experience and is one of New Zealand’s most qualified commercial jet boat operators. He is a four time New Zealand Jet Boat Champion and in 1989 became the World Jet Boat Racing Champion.

Bill designs and finishes all his own boats. He established ‘Attack Marine Ltd’ in Whakatane to build pleasure and commercial jet boats. He is also the creator of the ‘Wave Attack’, sea extreme boat.

Bill has jet boated most boatable rivers in New Zealand and has also raced on rivers in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Jet boats are his life and he drives them with a skill learnt through many years of playing and racing.
